Though working the Time Delay Circuit based on 555 IC,  I did not found much use of it.  Only to be noted is I have used the 12 V Relay inplace of the 9 V relay mentioned in the circuit diagram.   The power supply Transformer is of12v/750 ma.

 

 By Changing the Relay connection to the positive rail the same  Time Delay for ON mode can be achieved with this circuit.
